I am an aspiring author going through the same struggle. It's good to know I'm not alone. I like your "Why" file on your desktop. It's a daily struggle and I appreciate your honesty. Best of luck to you and please keep doing what you are doing.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07390506624713997251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1247648456241151607.post-63309559530164710932014-07-02T23:22:47.323-04:002014-07-02T23:22:47.323-04:00Are your characters married that are having sex? I agree, that is how I approach it too They are Christians, but they still struggle with things that have gone wrong in their lives and they struggle with the feelings they have about being angry with God and how they find their way back. I hope you find the stories enjoyable and fun with a side of steamy :) We all need steamy in our lives ;)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10797948690614608825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1247648456241151607.post-75671037541248722662014-04-18T22:29:07.545-04:002014-04-18T22:29:07.545-04:00Thanks for stopping by Jenna. Let's face it, that's not real life! I hope you if ever get a chance to read one that you find it to be enjoyable and worthwhile. :)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10797948690614608825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1247648456241151607.post-69646831581946467292014-04-18T22:27:02.950-04:002014-04-18T22:27:02.950-04:00Start with Sugar's Dance, then Song, then Nigh...Start with Sugar's Dance, then Song, then Night. I used to believe everything was black and white, but when it comes to adulthood, it totally isn't. Now I read back through the Bible and notice So-and-so struggled with this, so-and-so struggled with that -- just like me. Now when I write, I go from a "Christian point of view" meaning it's not necessarily Christian fiction, but the characters often are, and they deal with "worldly" problems (just like everyone here).
Glad I came across this post! I've deterred from Christian romance for this very reason...I haven't read one yet that is true to the natural longings and was able to proudly express it without sounding ridculiously prudish (with the exception of one time travel fantasy series a friend of mine has written.) I don't mean to judge every Christian romance because I realize most authors write differently and I do respect that. It's just not my personal preference. I am relieved to find your books so I can add a great Christian romance to my TBR list. I'm looking forward to checking your books out.

Laurie KozlowskiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1247648456241151607.post-43770199415182508972014-02-20T22:31:44.851-05:002014-02-20T22:31:44.851-05:00Thanks Lori! I've never been one who easily conforms to the boxes people set out for us to step into LOL Maybe it's because of what I've gone through in my own life, but I can't seem to reign in my need to walk a path less traveled. I've read some Christian Romance and have enjoyed them very much, but I'm throughly intrigued by the premise of your novels. There is something to be said for a couple dealing with difficult issues and struggling with their faith all the while working on their relationship too. Actually, sounds like a very compelling story if you ask me. As a Christian myself, I can relate to struggling with your relationship with God. I would also suspect that by the time the couple in the story get to the sex, it would be way more than that, because of the intimacy that would be established. I'll definitely be adding your books to my TBR list.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1247648456241151607.post-40496617065231073942014-02-19T12:33:56.770-05:002014-02-19T12:33:56.770-05:00Hi Crystal! I had to laugh, because truer words were never spoken :) My minister has read the Sugar series, loved them and passed them on to his wife and kids. How have I written them? Honestly, painfully, and hopefully in a way that leaves you smiling at the end with a hopeful heart.
