I've been sharing the authors coming to #RoanokeAuthorInvasion for a few weeks, right?
Let me tell you it was AMAZING. One of my best weekends ever.
In a matter of 24-36 hours I got to meet 30 wonderful authors.
They were all super nice and I barely fangirled.
I did good with all but one. Wendy Higgins caught me by complete surprise on Saturday morning.
So, yes I fangirled for all of a minute or so.
LOL I hope I was as composed as I thought the rest of the time.
Did I buy every book I wanted? No...alas, I couldn't.
However I made out like a bandit and will just buy the rest next year!
Things I learned after this event:
1.Take pics before the event starts are right as you get to meet the author.
Why? By the end of the event my hair was all haywire.
2. I have a crazy exhausted smile. Example? Check the smile in the pic of me and Cambria Hebert.
LOL Ok, so let's get to the nitty gritty!!
