Tanner absolutely stole the show throughout the entire story.  He's loving, supportive and positive thinking through most of the book.  He's one hottie mctottie that will leave you wanting your own cowboy just like him.  Claire on the other hand was a bit unlikable, negative and stubborn.  Jonathon, Claire's son, was a great escape with his fantasy.
His Kind of Cowgirl is well written and a great story. I feel it is more women's fiction due to the lack of romance between Claire and Tanner throughout the book. His kind of Cowgirl doesn't give you the warm, happy feeling a typical Harlequin romance does throughout the story, but if you like a heroine with a strong personality and a cowboy who ropes her in then you'll like this book.
