The first books in the Game of Hearts Series are two of the most engrossing, magical stories I've read in a long while. From the first page I was swept away in Cassie's story. She's a girl I can easily relate to in most ways. Though sometimes I wanted to scream at my kindle app telling her to stop being a doormat. The rest of the characters are unique and well woven together to keep you interested even when you want to knock some heads together. If you're looking for a paranormal upper YA series that will have you enthralled from beginning to end I highly recommend The Game of Hearts books to date. (I'm SO ready for the next!)
