Emma Harris is learning that life is just a series of lessons.

Lesson #1: Nothing goes the way you plan.

Lesson #2: You can’t trust men. Especially not the pretty ones.

Lesson #3: Turns out, appearances are almost always deceiving.

Emma thinks she has life all figured out, and what she knows isn’t good. For years, she’s put her big sister, who was born with Down syndrome, first. Now Emma’s ready to start her own life, but fate has other plans. To do the right thing for the sister she loves, Emma’s dreams will just have to wait.

She doesn’t plan on meeting Landon — a rich, flirtatious jock, who never has to wait for anything. Not for attention, not for money, and certainly not for girls. Meeting Emma marks the first time in his life that he’s had to fight for something. And Landon doesn't know how to lose.

Emma has no interest in wasting her summer with a superficial guy like Landon. But very soon she realizes she is wrong about him. The question is, can she trust him? Or will he let her down like every other guy in her life? But most importantly, can Emma trust herself enough to live the life she's always dreamed of?

Life has a way of sneaking in the most important lessons when you aren't looking. And once the heart gets involved, that's when the real learning begins.

First thoughts after…
I love a great read!

How distracted did I get?
Not Yet, is a wonderful super addictive New Adult romance.  Wow, from the get go I was wrapped up like a pig in a blanket in Emma and Landon's world.  I love Emma. She's smart, fun and supportive of disabled.  Her sister has Downs and I love that they are each other's rock.  Landon at first seems like the cocky jock.(ha! Cocky! sorry…) But as the story moves and grooves he grew on me. He was comical with his "come down" visuals of his Aunt Agnes. I was dying!  I loved his character's growth and deserves the Hottie McTottie love!  Dean, his bff was up and down for me but I loved him in the end.  Ford, well, I felt like I wanted to smack him in all his scenes.  That one time you wish you could really reach into the pages you know?  Evie, oh I wanted to be her big sis! So smart and intuitive. People don't realize how smart people with disabilities are because they make assumptions. Stop and listen, like Emma does with Evie. Big sis knows best! I also enjoyed that the story was mostly plot and not worried about skipping scenes as I sometimes do with NA books.  Just the right amount of steam! Also, her knowledge of many different disabilities is refreshing. Ms. Ward either has someone in her life with a disability or she did super awesome research.  As a mom with a son with a few different disabilities I find the knowledge and education for Landon on interacting with the disabled characters awesome.  <3  Not yet is a heart warming story where 2 lost hearts meet and find their forever, if they can get past the obstacles in their lives.
