CHANCE OF A LIFETIME
Anderson Brothers #3
Marissa Clarke
Releasing November 16th, 2015
Entangled: Lovestruck
Sometimes
the biggest risk is playing it safe…
Gen Richards is tired of living down
to her family’s expectation of the helpless blind girl. Resurrecting her
high-school bucket list that begins with “kiss a total stranger” seems just the
thing until she finds herself in a panty-melting lip lock with her big
brother’s best friend.
Chance Anderson thrives on
adrenaline, but Genny’s the one risk he’s not willing to take. His recklessness
a decade ago landed her in the hospital and ejected him from her life. He’s bad
for her and everyone knows it—especially her big brother.
Chance reluctantly helps Gen
complete her bucket list in order to keep her out of trouble. Running through a
freezing fountain, playing Spin the Bottle while fending off a mad horde of
stinging insects, and skinny dipping with homicidal attack swans don’t hold a
candle to the real danger: falling for the one person he can never have.

Gen has loved one man all her life. Her best friend growing up, Chance. When a crisis happens when she's fifteen Chance disappears from her life without a goodbye or a reason. Years later after a friend passes Gen becomes determined to live life to the fullest and complete the bucket list she created when she was a teen. She's tired of being seen as the blind girl who can't do a thing for herself. A random encounter brings Chance back into her life and he agrees to help her complete her bucket list. The connection between Gen and Chance is off the charts. Each item brings them closer together and Gen slowly learns why Chance left her all those years ago.
Gen also has to deal with her family, in particular her brother who believes she's helpless and will never be able to live on her own because of her disability. I root through the book for her to stand up for herself and show she can live her own life.
Marissa Clarke had me reeled into their story from the first chapter and I was hooked until the last page. If you enjoy a romance that is full of hope and is steamier than a Starbucks Coffee on a cold winter day, then I would highly recommend Chance of a Lifetime!
