Jessi has had her eye on Max since they met years ago at one of her country concerts he attended with her cousin Tuck.  She's finally decided a fake relationship is her way in and a way to get her father to back off on all the security he has following her around.  Max knows this is a horrible idea.  He doesn't want to ruin his friendships with Jessi's family. Her father and Tuck (also Max's bff) come in and convince him it's best so she can feel a bit free without security and her potential stalker after her. 
I've been rooting for Jessi and Max since reading To Win Her Trust.  The chemistry between them bolts off the pages. Jessi just wants some independence and I love that.  She's following her mother's dream, but she is on the road to discover who she really is. Max is just one hottie mctottie teddy bear and he swooped in and swept me off my feet.  I loved discovering his many different layers that made me love him even more with each page.  If you enjoy a heart churning and steamy romance then add To Win Her Heart to your wishlist.
