Neither Adeline nor Liam ever planned to get married. Adeline was always labeled as lame and people have pitied her since she was born. So, she's off for an adventure in London. She wants a season to live a life she only dreamed of. Liam finds himself laid up in Adeline's vacation home in London with her family. They nurse him back to health and he finds when it's time to go home, he doesn't want to go far because he's drawn to Adeline, whether he wants to be or not.
I love Adeline's humor and frankness with Liam. She doesn't hold back and lets him know what's on her mind whether it's "proper" or not. Liam is protective, sexy and highly intelligent. The chemistry between Adeline and Liam is so magnetic it draws you in and you never want to put the book down even when you're finished.
To say I flew through this story is an understatement. I was able to polish this off in about 24 hours even with my boys home for the summer. If you enjoy a sensual tension filled, spicy regency romance with a touch of mystery and a bit of humor in all the right places, I highly recommend This Earl Is On Fire.
