Julie has always had feelings for Mark. Since they were teens and she was shunned by his crowd of friends. She was still drawn to him even when she was so hurt. Mark has always known that Julie was the one. However he didn't want her caught up in his life when he knew it was so limited.
I love Julie. She's easy to relate and she has a fun sense of humor to lighten things up right when you need it. She has an inner strength that is almost incomparable. Mark is quite unique because his bear takes his personality at times throughout the story and even his bear is very likable. To say the chemistry between Julie and Mark was explosive is not giving it enough oomph. The story is fast paced from the start and doesn't slow until the end of the story. I wish the scene where Julie, Becca and Tonya had a girls' night was told from Julie's point of view but other than that I can't think of anything to make this story more enjoyable.
