When Daisy and Jack meet and the chemistry explodes off the pages. I love Jack he knows what he wants and he's not afraid to let Daisy know. Daisy however after been burnt badly by her exhusband is less willing to trust herself much less someone else.  She's determined to be independent.  Jack and her family have to help her learn asking for help isn't the end of the world.
I enjoyed this story very much! The characters were well developed and mostly likable.  If you enjoy a great romance with a protagonist with a bit of a stubborn streak I highly recommend Her Surprise Engagement.
