Veiled Secrets is my first book by Jodi Vaughn. What a way to start! The story comes out swinging with a huge mystery and I was enthralled from the start. Celeste is a very likable and relatable character. She just wants to know the truth and finds her destiny in the process. Eric, well, he just wanted to get out of hot water with the board of his company when he meets a pleasant distraction and entanglement. From the start their connection was electric and unstoppable. Donovan, I want to love him and I do at times. However, there are times I want to jerk a knot in his cotton pickin' noggin. He is definitely trouble walking through Celeste & Eric's front door. Leslie, I really would like to know what happened to that conniving woman. If you're looking for a fun, addictive and sexy paranormal romance this is a book I highly recommend.
