Tyler is the typical player. The girls he's with know the deal and he won't call them again. The last thing he expects is for the spunky and beautiful Dani to occupy his thoughts night and day from the moment he meets her. Not to mention her adorable son. Dani wants to keep her distance. Getting involved with Tyler could not only jeopardize her heart but her son, Noah's, as well.
Tyler is one Marine that could and has swept many women off their feet. Though he's a ladies' man, he knows when he's met his one and has a heart of gold. He's protective, sexy and loving. Dani is fun, sassy and smart. Though I'm not sure how I feel about a protagonist who has no idea who Buffy or Joss Whedon is. Her love for her son is admirable though I felt it held her back a bit too much from relationships. Her mother drove me nuts. Though she loves her daughter the underhanded comments were a bit much for me.
I felt the characters were well developed and for the most part, they were all relatable and likable. The secondary characters such as Noah and Tyler's boys at the second chance program topped off a wonderful story that had me so wrapped up in the story I finished in less than 24 hours.
If you enjoy a super steamy military romance that has a bit of suspense and the perfect Alpha teddy I highly recommend Hero of Mine.
