Micah started a music store in Nashville after losing his wife and quitting his band. He doesn't expect his wife's best friend to show back up in town. Sloan is ready to settle in Nashville and is booking acts for a locally owned bar. When they crash back into each other's lives their attraction is undeniable but both are afraid.
I loved Sloan. She's caring, spunky and bold. Someone you'd want to be your friend. Micah is putting himself through hell punishing himself for not being home when his wife passed. He feels for others but would rather protect them from himself. The two are a perfect pair in learning to love and heal hurting hearts together. If you enjoy a romance that will sweep you off your feet I highly recommend One and Only. I'll definitely be reading more of Amy Knupp's stories soon.
Amy Knupp is the author of
contemporary romance, a freelance copy editor for Blue Otter Editing, and a
freelance technical writer. While the collection of professional hats she wears
sounds a bit scattered and broad, the common thread among all of them (perhaps
the little ball on top of each hat) is the written word. She loves words and
grammar and meaty, engrossing stories with complex characters.
Amy
lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two teenage sons, four cats, and two box
turtles. She graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in French and
journalism. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, breaking up cat fights,
watching college hoops, and annoying her family by correcting their grammar.
