Aiden and Delanie were torn apart by Aiden's betrayal. Delanie is confident, determined and successful and she needs to have more balance in her life. She doesn't want a relationship after her divorce and the betrayal by Aiden before that. Aiden knows he chose wrong when he was younger and his father betrayed him, in turn, causing Aiden to betray Delanie. No woman ever measured up. I love his resolve that he's not going to let her go again. His growth since he was younger is amazing and his swoon-worthy personality doesn't hurt a reader dig into the story fast.
