Beyond Scandal and Desire is an amazingly unique historical romance. Mick is determined to get revenge on his father for abandoning him because he's illegitimate. Part of his plan is to steal his brother's lady. Lady Aslyn is relatable and strong for the time period this story is written to go against the grain is highly unusual. She's torn between two men and who wouldn't want the bad boy? Mick is dark and sexy. His true heart sees him through in the end. Lady Aslyn is intrigued by Mick from the beginning. Their chemistry is off the charts and their love story had me enthralled.  The story has some great twists and turn that will have you captivated until the last page.
I loved this story so much I jumped right into the next story and can't wait to share that review with you as well. If you enjoy a great historical romance that has some wonderful twists and turns I highly recommend reading Beyond Scandal and Desire!

Evie runs away from her abusive extended family.  Her last chance to be protected from them is by marrying the notorious rake, Sebastian.  Sebastian is as desperate as Evie.  His father has used up all the family money and he needs to marry a lady of wealth.

Evie goes in determined not to lose her heart to Sebastian.  She has a hidden strength, that makes all other characters underestimate her.  Sebastian deep down can't help his feelings.  Though at the beginning I was sure he wouldn't win me over he did in the end.  The secondary characters keep the story flowing perfectly,  I love Cam, the employee of Evie and Sebastian's establishment.  I hope he plays a part in Daisy's story that is upcoming.  Though the story was a bit slow to take off once it did the story was difficult to put down.

If you enjoy an intriguing historical romance with unique character who will have you enthralled from beginning to end, I would definitely check out Devil in Winter.
