ME + YOU is a fun short romance that left me with a happy heart. I loved Lori. She's a teacher and her love for her students got me right in the feels. Though she lacks a little self confidence she was a great female lead. Mark is a fun male lead. His struggles with being a single dad of a little girl is very endearing. To add to his mess he has a quirky ex-wife that has a very different way on parenting. He's not looking for a relationship but there's just something about Lori he can't turn away from. ME + YOU is a fun story about hope and true love that will leave you with a happy heart. I've not read any of Brenda Gayle's books before but I will be reading more.

I've been a writer all my life but returned to my love of
fiction after more than 20 years in the world of corporate
communications--although some might argue there is plenty of opportunity for
fiction-writing there, too. I have a Master's degree in journalism and an
undergraduate degree in psychology. A fan of many genres, I am drawn to
contemporary romance and enjoy creating deeply emotional stories with elements
of mystery and suspense.
