Bailey wants out of her small town and move to LA to be with her band and work on an album.  She's stressed about telling her overbearing cousins.  The black sheep of the family and her hometown, she's tired of being compared to her cousins and crazy standards the town expects of the Harts.
Chase came home from working Oakland PD 2 years ago and it's taken all he's had to avoid giving away his attraction to Bailey.  Her cousin Justin would have his head.  But when he learns about Bailey leaving he's determined to give her a reason to stay.
I loved the chemistry between Bailey and Chase.  Their denial of their feelings kept me filled with anticipation to find out what compromising situation would happen next.  Bailey's cousin Justin about drove me nuts.  He was a bit domineering and controlling. However, I love how Bailey stood up for herself and told him what's what. If you love a book about unrequited love that turns into a steamy and well told love story, then you'll love Bailey and Chase's story.

T. J. Kline was raised competing in rodeos and rodeo queen competitions since the age of 14, She has thorough knowledge of the sport as well as the culture involved.
