Willow hasn't come home to Shenandoah Falls in years but after the passing of her friend, she feels the need to return. Willow wants to finish the job of restoring the historic inn Eagle Hill Manor just in time for a holiday wedding. David is the widower of Willow's old friend and no longer enjoys the holidays since he lost his wife. The more time they spend together, David begins falling for her charms especially when he sees how good she is with his daughter.
I liked Willow but David however they didn't draw me as well as some characters do. He's a bit stiff and though he's still grieving his wife he falls for Willow a bit too fast.
Even though this story wasn't completely my cup of tea, I feel that this will be a book that others may enjoy thoroughly. Shenandoah Falls is a fun town where everyone knows everyone. If you enjoy small town romances this would be one to check out if you enjoy insta romances.
