Tempting Thursday ~ Liberty Belle by Katie Mettner

"Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle.Your neck is like an ivory tower."

Some of you might think I'm waxing poetic, but the truth is, I didn't write that line. That line is from Song of Solomon Chapter 7 3-4. Are you thinking, "Say what?" It's true. So many people don't realize the beauty of Song of Solomon in the Bible. When I began writing Liberty Belle I heard the verse "I have found the one whom my soul loves." I didn't know what it was from, but a quick search told me it was none other than Song of Solomon 3:4. I knew at that point Liberty Belle was going to be a sexy story. How could it not be when the verse the two characters declared to each other was from Song of Solomon?

So is Liberty Belle a sexy story? As they say in Minnesota, 'you betcha!' But not in the erotica/smut style of sexy. Instead, Liberty Belle is sexy in a true love, caring, gentle, trusting way. It is sexy in a Song of Solomon kind of way. Liberty is given a diagnosis that is the catalyst to understanding that Bram is simply the one her soul loves. Bram is given the patience to show her that even when her body fails, he will be there for her soul. Liberty Belle is a tender and gentle dance through a chronic illness that neither defines nor defeats the their belief that love conquers all.

Thanks for stopping by today to visit with Tobi and me. Liberty Belle is on sale through 06/05 for just 0.99. As always, I appreciate your support for all my books!

Book Blurb:

Main Street is bustling in Snowberry, Minnesota, and nobody knows that better than the owner of the iconic bakery, the Liberty Belle. Handed the key to her namesake at barely twenty-one, Liberty has worked day and night to keep her
parents’ legacy alive. Now, three years later, she’s a hotter mess than the batch of pies baking in her industrial-sized oven.

Photographer Bram Alexander has had his viewfinder focused on the heart of one woman since returning to Snowberry. For the last three years she’s kept him at arm's length, but all bets are off when he finds her injured and alone on the bakery floor.

Liberty knew falling in love with Bram would be easy, but convincing her tattered heart to trust him may be impossible. Armed with small town determination and a heart of gold, Bram shows Liberty frame-by-frame how falling for him is as easy as pie.

Liberty Belle is a wonderful inspirational romance that lives up to the rest of the series.  Believe it or not I love the main couple with each story.  Liberty is amazing, independent and an inner strength unlike any other.  Bram, oh Bram, so far you're in a tie with my sweet Crow.  His life has prepared him to be Liberty's rock when she needs it, and heart when she needs love and care.  With each step and struggle events draw them closer as they discover they were made to be together in God's eyes.  Liberty Belle is the is the epitome of perfect love and romance.
