From Hel, With Love - Blue Remy

Hel hath no fury like her Raven scorned…

Fallen Valkyrie Legionnaire, Raven Aquilus, has always known she was an outcast to her kind. Stuck in New Orleans as the Protectress of the Nine Gates of Yggdrasil, she lives as close to the edge as her family will allow. One fateful night would change it all – Someone ritualistically slaughtered a guardian in one of her Gates, leaving Raven lying in a pool of blood. Ordered to find the killer before she dies along with her precious guardians, Raven is placed in a race against time, being forced to enlist in the help of a Human FBI paranormal agent. Together they must stop the serial murders before an ancient war reignites – and Raven loses everything, including a new found love, all to a jealous half-breed …

Welcome the XIII Hour™ series. Betrayal, Lust, Love, Murder, Jealousy and Revenge. The faery-tales that your mother never told you about just came true.

Hello Blue! Thanks for doing an interview!
We can start with the more serious then move to the fun shortly.
Tell us a little about the XIII Hour series. Hmmm, that is a hard one, Tobi. It is such a multi-faceted series; I don’t know where to begin. Let’s just say, it’s filled with Norse mythology, Grimms faery tale twists, Vampires, Lycans and Valkyries, OH MY!

How did the series come about did it just pop in your head one day? I actually did online RP for quite a few years and created TTH, aka The XIII Hour™, as a role play forum. I created Raven playing D&D, then moved her to online. She was so easy to write, I had to tell her story to the world, so sat down and started writing.

How many books do you foresee in the series? Infinite. There are so many new characters brought in with Raven and her crew, that the possibility is endless.

Who is your favorite character/characters. I know like asking which is your favorite child but had to ask! They already fight in my head, Tobi, are you asking for a war???? Raven, of course, is my favorite, then Valentino, the Vampire King. Maelstrom, and I have no idea why, is becoming a favorite as I am writing more with the series.

What inspired you to start writing? I’ve always done some form of writing, but when I really got into the RP, it just flowed, so I said why not.

Who are the authors who inspired you? Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Sherilyn Kenyon, JR Ward, Christine Feehan, Clive Barker

ON TO THE FUN! <3
If your passport could have 3 stamps what would they be? Sicily, Scotland and Norway

Valentino Pilate
If your books were to become movies who would star? Oh man ….
Raven – Charisma Carpenter, Rhona Mitra, Angelina Jolie in her Tomb Raider days
Duncan – Bruce Willis, Jason Stathem
Valentino – Clint Hummel hands down
Tamerlane – Vin Deisil
Annabel – Emma Watson
Maelstrom – Charlie Humnam, Alexander Skarsgard
Essy – Pauley Pruett
What office supply can’t you resist buying even though you have plenty? None … I don’t have an office
What’s your fave?
Cleaning tip? Must play music and boogie while cleaning!
Place for Vacay? New Orleans!
Food? Italian
Beverage? Liquor? Patron Silver, Malibu is my weakness … Love black cherry koolaid and hooked on ruby red grapefruit juice
Thing to do in amusement park? Ride the biggest coaster
Coffee or tea? Tap the IV for coffee!

First thoughts after....
Oh EMMM GEEEEEEE!  I need more!!!!  What an ending!

How Distracted Did I Get?
From Hel, With Love is the first of many books in the XIII Hour Series and let me tell you Blue Remy started out with a BANG!  From beginning to end the story had me wrapped up from head to toe!  I love the new take on Dark Fantasy with the Norse Mythology I've not seen in any other books so far.  Raven is a strong character, that even though she is supposed to be evil to the core you know there is good in her whether she believes it or not.  With cowboy Duncan as her counterpart this story doesn't go wrong.  I'm in love with many minor characters I can't wait to learn more about in future books!  Tino, le sigh.....more please!!!!  This is a must read for anyone who loves Dark Fantasy, Paranormal etc.....I about died waiting for my kindle to charge so I could keep reading...it took 16 hours stupid slow charger!  Anyhooo...From Hel, With Love is the perfect book to cuddle up with for the weekend.
I give From Hel, With Love..........
