Paranormal Romantic Suspense
A car accident changes everything for Dr. Toni Parthen. Her computer hacked hospital blood test confirms she's the carrier of a gene that's the key to salvation for a unique race of human beings. I'm interested to see what will happen next in the series.
How distracted did I get?
The Bloodline Wars is an intricately woven story that slowly drew me in. At first it was hard to follow all the POV's though I became accustomed about a third of the way through the book. The story is different as far as Vampires, Demons and Fey live and coexist. Toni is a different type of leading lady strong in ways yet vulnerable in others. Jacken is a little stand offish but he draws you in and kept me in the story. As the story took off I was hooked. I had to find out what happened next. If you enjoy Paranormal Romantic Suspense I'd definitely check out The Bloodline wars.
